Of course Akerlof and Kranton have done more together since, but this was the start of it and since Akerlof used it as a basis for his &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.aeaweb.org/annual_mtg_papers/2007/0106_1640_0101.pdf&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;call for social norms in Macro&lt;/a&gt; two years ago, I figured it was worth reading.</description>
