Updating

I’ve updated the blog to version 3.2 of WordPress (the fullscreen editing of posts is nice).  Hopefully there’ll be no problems …

Upgrades, upgrades

The world keeps on changing under my feet.  I’ve done a few upgrades on the site — my apologies in advance if anything seems (let alone is!) broken.

Please excuse the mess …

I’m playing with my themes.

Meta and trumpet-blowing

I’ve just upgraded to version 2.8 of WordPress.  Hopefully it will improve the speed of the site.

Also, a search on google for “fiscal multiplier” puts me at number two at the moment.  I have no idea why.

Integrating with Twitter

I’m not really sure about Twitter.  I don’t really see the point.  I guess the mobile-phone integration is a step forward, but still …

Anyway, I’ve just installed Twitter Tools so that my Twitter account will get an update when I post a new entry here on my blog.

New feature: I’m now printer-friendly!

By popular demand (well, one person asked me), I’ve installed WP-Print – a WordPress plugin that will allow you, valued readers, to see a printer-friendly version of any post or page on this blog.

Every post and page now has a link at the top that takes you to the printer-friendly version of that post or page.  If you live-and-die by the URI bar, it’s the usual address with “/print/” at the end.

Let me know if you have any problems.

LaTeX

I’ve installed the Latex for WordPress plugin, so now I can freak people out by writing stuff like this:

$$P_{it}^{\ast }=\left( \frac{\gamma }{\gamma -1}\right) ce^{s_{it}}$$

Upgraded to wordpress 2.7.1

I’ve just upgraded the version of wordpress I’m using.  There’s a chance some things might be broken for a little while.

Comments really are now open …

… I promise!

A post from my iPhone

This is a post from the WordPress app on my iPhone. The interface is simple enough, but seems to lack any admin functionality.
